The 2024 Pro Bono Reception will be hosted by the Commercial Litigators' Forum, the City of London Law Society, the City of London Solicitors' Company and the London Solicitors Litigation Association, with strong support from the GC100 and COMBAR. Taking place on Wednesday 24th April in the Great Hall of the Royal Courts of Justice, join leaders from the legal sector and judiciary to celebrate pro bono.
#TheProBonoReception celebrates the commercial legal sector's backing of access to justice and pro bono and supports the National Pro Bono Centre. It follows the highly successful major London receptions in recent years and marks the path to London International Disputes Week 2024 (3 - 7th June).
The reception will bring together leaders across the commercial dispute resolution sector and the access to justice and pro bono sector. The providers of services to London’s commercial dispute resolution are warmly invited - reflecting their key role in London’s commercial dispute resolution offer, combined with their support of access to justice and pro bono including in particular through sponsorship of the CLF Litigation Directory.
We are thrilled that the evening will coincide with In House Pro Bono Day, and on the day, the GC100, the In House Pro Bono Group, the National Pro Bono Centre, Advocate, BACFI and LawWorks and TrustLaw will together formally launch the In House Pro Bono Pledge. We look forward to celebrating the many in house lawyers who have attended In House Pro Bono Day at this evening Pro Bono Reception and providing a forum for ideas generated by the day to be discussed amongst the whole legal community. Companies who have signed the In House Pro Bono Pledge will be announced on the night.
